Service Description

Acting, Dancing and Singing involves a broad range of skills, including a well-developed imagination, emotional facility, physical expression, vocal projection, clarity of speech, and the ability to interpret music and a script. Our Dance classes will be taught by Emma Seward and the Acting and Singing classes by Abigail Griffiths. They will be teaching the fundamental techniques of Acting, Dancing and Singing to provide a basic understanding of the performing arts and the wonderful world of the Theatre. We will be covering the following subjects in the classes: Introduction to Acting, Dancing and Singing Physical awareness – how to use your body to tell a story through Acting and Dance. Vocal awareness – vocal technique and utilizing your voice. Creating an ensemble – how to work together in a group. Character development – how to create a character. Focus and concentration – how to focus and concentrate onstage. Theatre Games – fun activities to sharpen your acting skills. Confidence – learn how to be confident in front of an audience.
